about
Will Keesee is a New York City based Producer and Director.
He has produced and directed commercial content for major brands such as
Citi, Google, Amazon, Sotheby’s International Realty, Deloitte, SharkNinja, Bose,
Bud Light, Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey, Kraken Spiced Rum, Three Olives Vodka, and H&M. He has also served as Showrunner for multiple award-winning digital series on the Yahoo! platform InTheKnow.com.
Will’s first feature film as a Producer, the documentary "Henri Dauman: Looking Up", premiered in 2018 at the Hamptons International Film Festival and has since screened at dozens more festivals around the world, picking up nominations and awards along the way. The film was acquired for distribution by Samuel Goldwyn Films and House of Film and is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
A graduate of Northwestern University, Will began his professional career working at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) while moonlighting as an independent producer for music videos and startup brands. He transitioned fully into the production world at Lucky 8 TV, helping to develop unscripted series for History, A&E, Food Network, National Geographic, TLC, Smithsonian, and Animal Planet.
In 2015, Will joined the crew of the hit A&E series “60 Days In” as a Field and Post Producer. Working on that show, he navigated the inner workings of the American county jail system, chasing story and conducting hundreds of hours of interviews with inmates of all backgrounds, demographics and criminal charges.
In addition to “60 Days In”, Will served as Supervising Producer on the spinoff series “60 Days In: Narcoland”, and as a Producer and Translator on the NETFLIX auto competition series “HYPERDRIVE”.
Will is a voracious consumer of pop culture, a sad-sack Mets / Jets / Knicks fan, and a lover of good jokes and pizza.
